Background
In December 1911, Roald Amundsen planted the Norwegian flag at the South Pole, just weeks ahead of British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott, who was approaching by another route.

This exhibition tild the story of Roald Amundsen’s expedition using personal accounts and rare images taken by the expedition crew.

The exhibition was sponsored by the Royal Norwegian Embassy and was displayed in the Public Hall at the High Court of Australia.

Our role

Missing Bits Productions was commissioned by our friends at Damsel & Sprout to take still photography during the exhibition launch event.
