In 2018, after a 2 year campaign, Australia was elected to the United Nations Human Rights Council. The United Nations body is responsible for the promotion and protection of all human rights around the globe.

Missing Bits Productions was tasked with producing the video that would form part of Australia’s successful bid.
It involved interviews with prominent Australians in the human rights space including; The Hon Michael Kirby AC CMG, Hon Julie Bishop MP, Hon Ken Wyatt AM MP, Human Rights Commissioner Mr Edward Santow, President of the Law Council of Australia Fiona McLeod SC and Former Sex Discrimination Commissioner Elizabeth Broderick AO.

It was Australia’s inaugural membership to the council and also represents the first time any Pacific nation has served on the council.
